We inform you, in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Personal data will be processed by CSIC and incorporated into the processing activity “General information consultations” whose purpose is the processing of the query formulated. Purpose based on the exercise of the powers exercised by this body.

Personal data may be communicated to other competent departments of other administrations, when necessary to answer your query. The data will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected.

These include appointing a data protection officer and reporting to the AEPD. The CSIC’s data protection officer is José López Calvo.

The regulations also require that the inventory of treatment activities be made public by electronic means. The CSIC has completed the remaining data protection requirements, including the creation of internal flows for the communication of any security breach, the corresponding risk analysis, with the adoption of appropriate security measures in the light of those identified, as well as the conduct of “privacy impact assessment” studies in cases where risks have been identified, which have been identified mainly as linked to data processing in the framework of some research projects.
